Welcome to our Mirror Mirror world.

I’m Maria Yiannikaris designer/director and along with Jane Freshwater we founded Mirror Mirror thirty-six years ago out of a love for creating beautifully crafted bespoke bridal gowns.

We were approached in our first year by both Liberty and Harrods (who both had bridal departments back then) and although we worked with Harrods for a while, we soon realized our focus lay in working one to one with our brides and delivering a personal and nuanced service.

We have never been just a bridal retailer, as having our workrooms/atelier onsite has always been at the heart of what we do.

This still holds true today and we are proud to offer you outstanding styling, fitting, alterations, customization, and bespoke services.

Our core team led by Meb our manager, have trained with us and have been part of our Mirror Mirror family from twelve to thirty-two years. Rest assured, we will be alongside you for your bridal journey, and you will be in safe hands.

Andrea was an absolute dream to work with.

I had the most amazing experience at Mirror Mirror. Shamel was my stylist for my initial try-on appointment, and she was absolutely incredible. She was warm, friendly, and instantly made me feel comfortable. She really listened to what I was looking for while also offering thoughtful suggestions that suited my style. I tried on about 10 dresses and never felt rushed at all. We kept coming back to dress number three, which turned out to be the one: Athos by Pronovias, my absolute dream dress. Mirror Mirror was actually the first and only boutique I visited, and it truly feels like a family-run business that is so welcoming and personal.

I also chose a bespoke veil from Dolecka Bridal, their in-house brand, and loved how they suggested adding extra lace to make it completely unique.

While Shamel was on extended leave, Meb took over for all my fittings, and she was just as wonderful. She made me feel completely at ease and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She tailored the dress perfectly to me, patiently helped me practice walking, going up and down stairs, and even gave great tips for transporting the dress to my destination wedding.

On the day, I felt like the best version of myself, with no worries at all about how I looked. That peace of mind meant I could fully focus on having the best time with my new husband and celebrating with all our friends and family.

Every detail was so thoughtful, and the whole experience was a dream from start to finish. I cannot recommend Mirror Mirror enough to any bride-to-be. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel your absolute best on your wedding day.
